Making Space: Brand ID

In 2018, EILEEN FISHER launched Making Space, a Brooklyn-based, community-centered retail experience. Part store, part atelier, part event space, Making Space was an opportunity for EF to connect with locals through shared values of craftsmanship, sustainability, and wellness. In a departure from traditional EF stores, Making Space featured a curated selection of products from multiple collections (the mainline, renewed garments, and samples) all while providing a space for workshops, movie screenings, gallery shows, and neighborhood events.

I partnered with Bone&Black and Common Name to concept, design, and guide the production of Making Space, including identity, narrative, collateral, and signage.


In collaboration with: Martin Bone (founder) and Kyle Barron-Cohen (writer) of Bone&Black, and Yoonjai Choi (graphic designer), and Ken Meier (graphic designer) of Common Name.
