OVERVIEW
We need creative visionaries to help us revive a zany and historic SoCal brand - the Cerritos Auto Square - the world’s first and largest auto mall.  

In the 80s and 90s the brand was incredibly strong thanks to the wild commercials from Jim Varney playing the role of Ernest.

Sadly, the marketing never recovered from the loss of Jim. Over the last 25 years their brand identity has faded away with bland ‘sale, sale, sale’ messages that do not resonate with viewers. 

The brand still has aided name recognition with 80% of SoCal residents. But no one can say what it is or how it helps car shoppers. 

The client has given us the green light to swing for the fences with new creative messaging.

We’ve been SoCal’s #1 place to buy a car for 40 years because when you add everything up car shoppers are safest here: great prices, selection, service, and location.

We have resurrected their original logo. 
We have a jingle that is very well known that we would like to maintain.
