Under The Darkened Sun Book Cover

After a lot of exploration for possible points of view, we settled on a somewhat classic composition with the main characters standing in the middle of the cover. The challenge was then to keep the image engaging by putting motion into the characters' gesture, and by adding drama with a strong lighting scheme. Choosing the right color palette was also crucial to give the cover more impact.
