Asics Hakone Ekiden Japan Social Campaign

Asics METASPEED is a long-distance running supershoe, the elite of the elite wear METASPEED.

Hakone Ekiden is one of Japan’s premier long-distance running events. Teams of amateurs compete in a 2-day relay from Tokyo to Lake Ashi and back.

In this social campaign, I led a team of designers, writers, strategists, account and project management to craft a creative campaign that brought awareness to METASPEED during the 2022 Hakone Ekiden. This campaign included the development of campaign guidelines for teams in Japan to execute against our strategy, architecture and messaging.
