Deconstructed Anthems at Day for Night Festival

Ian worked with, interdisciplinary artist, designer, a fellow at The Kennedy Center and visiting artist at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago Ekene Ijeoma on his interactive installation on mass incarceration, deconstructed anthems at day for night festival in Houston.

*Challenge*
Ijeoma was looking for a jazz trio or quintet to collaborate on a composition to be performed during the festival as a live element of the installation.

*Creative approach, tactics and solution*
Ian took a Collaborative approach with Ekene on the direction of needs to bring on the best and most fitting musician as a collaborator.
+ Coordinated, procured and assigned creative collaborator and Emmy and Oscar award winner, 
 Kris Bowers to compose music and assemble additional pieces accordingly.
+ Oversaw advancing -- Scheduling, negotiations and contracts with talent
