We are looking for a digital expert with a proven track record for commanding the audience's attention and getting them to engage. We need a talented editor to help create campaigns and experiences that inspire collective action against climate change.
Climate change presents one of the most intractable challenges that civilization has ever faced: how to get people to care about an existential threat that seems far away but must be acted on now to avoid.
Potential Energy Coalition is taking on this challenge by tapping the best minds in marketing, media and creative to change attitudes and beliefs and motivate substantive action on climate change. To do so, we are building an industry-wide marketing capability, driven by insights and supported by a coalition of the very best talent in the academic and creative industries, to launch and support campaigns about this issue.
As the Editor, you’ll be part of a fast cycle production unit delivering daily and weekly concepts and final digital assets. You will be a member of a unit inclusive of creative, media, analytics, production, insights and campaign. You will work to create a steady stream of highly adaptable and responsive content for one of our flagship campaigns.
To be successful candidates must have experience producing both static and mixed media content in close-to-real-time similar to a brand newsroom, Buzzfeed, NowThis, or political campaigns. The ideal candidate is proactive, creatively driven, and collaborative – focusing on developing high-quality digital creative while being quick to problem-solve and optimize when necessary.
A reel must be submitted for role consideration.
