Revelation is seeking a proactive, creative, and passionate Video Editor to work on dynamic social-first content. The Video Editor will be responsible for cutting short form content that captures consumer attention and adheres to brand identity. Working closely with the Content Manager, Graphic Designer and Social Media Manager, the ideal candidate will be successful in turning raw footage into engaging deliverables for the digital and social destinations of major beauty brands.

Duties include:
Review raw video and audio footage and organize for the editing process
Assess and edit together the footage into 8 Youtube hero videos per month
Create cutdowns of hero videos to adhere to each social platform’s best practices (including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok)
Source and insert music, transitions, sound effects, video effects, and graphics.
Review the edited video and revise it as directed by internal and client feedback.
Color grade footage and adjust audio assets to enhance overall video quality.
Ensure the project follows a logical sequence, is engaging for the consumer audience, and adheres to the video brief and client asks.
Collaborate with the production team to create shot lists, storyboards, video treatments, talent briefs, interview questions and other pre-production collateral.
Assist the Content Manager with development of production plans and track deadlines to ensure timely asset delivery.
Pull clear and relevant references to share with talent and clients.
Organize and manage asset libraries and archives.
Process and proofread closed captioning transcripts.
Continuously discover and implement new editing techniques, technologies and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
