Climate change is one of the most intractable challenges that civilization has ever faced: how to get people to care about climate change and take action on this existential threat.

Potential Energy Coalition is taking on this challenge by tapping the best minds in marketing, media and creative to change attitudes and beliefs and motivate substantive action on climate change. To do so, we are building an industry-wide marketing capability, driven by insights and supported by a coalition of the very best talent in academia and industry, to launch and support campaigns about this issue.

This Designer/Editor role at Potential Energy is a unique opportunity within the creative space - designing and creating content that motivates human beings to care about climate change and working with some of the best creative minds in the advertising industry.

Reporting directly to our Chief Creative Officer, you will work with our creative, strategy and production teams to create 360 advertising campaigns and experiences that inspire collective action against climate change.

Responsibilities
Concept and brainstorm with our CCO and copywriter for campaign ideation
Design and create engaging and high-performing digital assets, including videos and motion graphics, social media materials, landing pages, email creative, and display ads
Use premiere or final cut pro to create quick super-based videos on fast timelines
Design unique brand identities, logos, and content to house 360 campaigns
Develop creative for our own Potential Energy Coalition brand to support our website and social media pages
Stay up-to-date on current best practices, trends and user experience in design, web

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
3 + years experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house designer or editorial role
Strong conceptual thinker and collaborator
Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite CC: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere. A
