About the Team:
The Brand Marketing team spans many aspects of the business and includes roles in graphic design, social media, and public relations, to name a few. Since the roles with this department are varied, so are the people—in the best way! This team is laser focused on bringing the brand to life through rich storytelling, and they work together to accomplish this across multiple media and platforms.
About the Role:
Looking for an opportunity to thrive and flex your creative muscles at a thoughtful, sustainable start-up? Rothy’s is looking for a Content Art Director with a focus on social content creation with on-set video and photo experience to join our Brand Marketing team. This role will help support our Senior Art Directors and social team leads with concepting and executing on social assets along with supporting on additional e-commerce and marketing shoots. You will also help support our design team on creating elevated brand graphics and editorial layouts, motion graphic skills a plus.
What you’ll do:
Support our social team in the creation of paid/organic content from ideation to execution to post-production
Assist our team in continuing to create elevated, on-brand, real-time content
On-set art direction for photography and video needs in support of social or new product launches
Support the team on e-commerce photo and video shoots
Implement your post-production skills to edit video, create motion graphics, make retouching notes, design typographic treatments etc.
Partner with the marketing team to assist in concepting for campaigns when needed
Collaborate with the Product and Marketing team for design briefs and product priorities
Drive campaigns and social content with Rothy’s aesthetic in mind
Create on-brand, innovative collateral alongside our graphic design team
Bring thoughtful and new ideas to the table of how we can interact with our Rothy’s customer
Assist in creating marketing collateral, if needed
Research competitive landscape across global markets to identify how Rothy’s should shift creatively in order to remain at the top of style, sustainability, design, and comfort
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Art Direction, or Film
Experience with post-production a plus (retouching notes, video editing, motion graphics, graphic design etc.)
Experience working on or closely with a social team a plus
2-4 years of experience as an Art Director
Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (Skills in After Effects and Sketch a plus)
Obsessive attention to detail
Ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-productivity environment with tight deadlines
High-end, editorial, and minimalistic design aesthetic
