Bleacher Report is hiring a Senior Designer for our Content Design team who will help shape large scale projects, and deliver beautifully designed work that is both informative and on-brand. The Senior Designer should be a visual leader and passionate storyteller who collaborate with other designers and departments to create original and highly immersive digital experiences. This role will require the ability to work autonomously on large design projects when applicable.

Responsibilities:
Demonstrates expertise of layout, typography and visual hierarchy
Creates consistent, scalable design solutions across all platforms
Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
Embodies high standards and thoughtful design
Able to bring a point-of-view and defend work
Gives and takes constructive constructive
Proactively shares work, seeking feedback in an effort for improvement
Leads by example, helps grow junior and mid-level staff
Regularly evaluates existing processes and makes recommendations to improve
Assists with contractors and/or external vendors
Collaborates across departments
Interested & motivated to learn and grow
Requirements:
Strong design portfolio highlighting layout and typography
6-9+ years professional experience
Knowledge of the digital landscape in media, design and technology
In tune with contemporary design, internet and youth culture trends
Bachelor's degree in Design or related field preferred
Well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch
Comfortable with HTML and CSS
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Effective presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas
A love for experimenting and exploring new kinds of visual storytelling
Bonus Points:
A knowledge and love of sports and sports culture a plus
Experienced in working on branding and identities is a plus
