Generate and develop ideas that align with the vision and strategies of Playboy’s mission, rapidly turning design thinking into concepts and ideation into reality.
Iterate, brainstorm, concept and design highly polished work that represents the Playboy brand through design thinking, storytelling, presentations, art direction, visual design, UX, motion studies, prototypes and everything in between.
Drive product design, user experience and interface design decisions that leverages data, consumer insights and research.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to define product strategies and roadmaps while being a voice for the consumer and advocating for best in class design.
Manage day-to-day design tasks and help define processes for design workflow and collaborating with product and engineering.
Think through complicated systems and elevate the consumer experience by being detail oriented and prototyping assumptions.
Help define and maintain the Playboy Design System to ensure design standards are met across all Playboy owned and operated products.
Be a design advocate across the organization that can be open to the ideas, input and feedback from all teammates and stakeholders.
Work autonomously and lead designers to help reach the teams key objectives.
8+ years agency, in-house or start-up design experience and product design.
A detail-oriented mindset, focused on creating frictionless user experience design.
Exceptional portfolio showing impeccable taste and inventive design thinking.
Strong visual design foundation in typography, composition, motion and systems design.
Strong product design foundation in user experience, flows, detailed logic as well as revenue and business objectives.
In-depth understanding of Sketch or Figma, Adobe CS, and Keynote.
Rapid-prototyping skills in Principle, Framer X, InVision, After Effects or other.
Deep experience with design across multiple mediums and platforms including but not limited to Print, Web, TV, iOS, aOS and/or Apple Watch app interface design.
Expert understanding of underlying technology and what makes things work.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with core team, cross-functional teams and leadership.
Experience with design for physical installations or retail environments is a plus.
Experience with hardware and software products that exists in the marketplace a plus.
Experience with global launches, multi-language localization, accessibility design and large-scale mobile platforms is preferred but not required.
