You're probably not one to take a job just to make your friends jealous, but in case you are, Fair is hiring a Product Designer (contract to hire) in Santa Monica, CA, USA.
Design touches every aspect of Fair, from our product experience to how the world interacts with and visualizes our brand and its beliefs. Through clean and inspiring design, our team looks to unlock magic at all levels of our diverse range of projects-from the tiniest visual nuance of an in-app illustration to an eye-popping piece of animation. Working closely with our Engineering and Marketing departments, our multi-faceted designers innovate, iterate, simplify and push forward amazing experiences. If this sounds like the kind of place you'd like to work, join our tight-knit group of artists, thinkers and miracle makers in an environment that's as demanding as it is creatively fulfilling.
As our Product Designer, you'll research and design total user experiences for new product concepts. You welcome collaboration across departments. You'll constantly reevaluate existing products and suggest ways to fix and enhance the experience.
Fair is a FinTech company that provides a new way to shop, get approved and pay for your next car—all on your phone. It gives customers the freedom to drive the car they want for as long as they want, and the flexibility to turn it in at any time.
Our name pretty much says it all. It's our culture. It's the way we treat our customers, our network of dealers and our fast-growing family of employees. We believe in hard work, and we believe hard work should be rewarded. That's why we offer equity incentives, 100% coverage of medical, vision and dental premiums for employees and their families, 100% paid parental leave for 4 months, cellphone reimbursement, 401(k) retirement plans and free lunch 5 days a week for every employee. The way we see it, better to be more than fair than not to live up to our name.
