The Creative Lab at Google is seeking to build our roster of versatile freelance editors who– in an ever-evolving landscape of creation tools and platforms– are passionate about storytelling and making for the sake of making. Those that excel most in the role embrace wearing many hats, have a hunger for exploring new formats and techniques, enjoy creative challenges, and are eager to explore the possibilities that AI has to offer.

We love working with the Multi Hyphenated Editor!
Editor/Animator: You can weave together footage and add that extra layer of magic with original assets, motion graphics and animation.
Editor/Director: You possess a keen eye for storytelling and can guide a project from concept to final cut- working closely with creatives and copywriters but are able to operate independently as well
Editor/Cinematographer: You understand how to light and capture scenes and create stunning visuals, with the foresight and planning required to ensure they work together cohesively in an edit, and to execute that vision on a timeline expediently
Editor/ Sound Designer : You have a strong ear for detail and the ability to create soundscapes that complement and enhance the visuals, bringing stories to life through audio.
AI Innovator: You're curious about the latest AI tools and techniques, and you're excited to experiment with how they can enhance and transform visual storytelling.
