Hot Damn! it's a Freelance job

Are you an experienced UX designer who relishes developing and executing strategic design initiatives? If so, we want you to join our team as a Senior UX Design/Strategist! You will be responsible for helping lead the development of UX and content strategies for our latest project working closely with our creative and design teams.

It's important to note that this is not a service design or visual design role. Your focus will be on the conceptualisation and execution of UX, content strategies and some hands-on prototyping to deliver a large scale project within a high profile organisation.

Your responsibilities include understanding project specifications and user behaviour, conducting concept and usability testing and gather feedback where required, developing wireframes and prototypes around user needs, finding creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability), working with designers to implement great designs, communicating design ideas and prototypes to developers and client and organise and structure information and content, ensuring the navigation, processes, hierarchy of pages are smooth and logical.

What you bring is 5+ years of experience as a UX designer, with experience working strategically alongside creative and design directors, experience in working on large scale projects, ability to demonstrate great conceptual thinking that goes beyond best practice, strong portfolio of projects, familiarity with interaction design and information architecture, proficient in design software (e.g. Figma), problem-solving aptitude and excellent communication skills.

Ideally you'll be based in New Zealand, however, AU or West Coast USA, or similar time zone is also okay. This opportunity would start over the next few weeks.
