We're looking for someone who is passionate about the social space, has the ability to think on their feet to create culturally relevant concepts, is as inventive as they are entertaining, and is able to produce quality creative under deadline to support ongoing content engines. The ideal candidate is a graphic designer with social media content creation and coordination experience. As a Social Designer at JMS, you'll work with a high caliber team and gain excellent experience by being part of every project from brainstorming to execution. Our Bay Area team is on-site at our Berkeley studio. There is a possibility to do this role remote outside of the Bay Area.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create compelling, on-brand and engaging social creative, including but not limited to post graphics, programmatic content templates, storyboards, photos, videos, and other rich media.
• Utilize Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma and Premiere with great proficiency, dedicating any downtime to learn more when possible in order to become an expert.
• Work with animators and editors to see concepts and storyboards through to execution.
• Communicate with creative leadership to review and sell through creative concepts and executions, and be prepared to engage in an iterative process with internal teams and clients alike.
• Participate in independent and group idea generation, contributing concepts as well as thinking through final form factor.
• Follow server and Dropbox protocols to organize and update production and image databases with the latest working files.
• Coordinate with other designers, illustrators, printers, photographers, and production teams to complete social campaigns.
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all colleagues and professionally with the client.
