Book of the Month is looking for a Freelance UI/UX Designer or Product Designer to help us iterate on our logged-out/new member experience. The goal of our logged-out experience is to educate interested readers about BOTM and then provide a seamless and enjoyable path to purchase. This work sits at the intersection of product design and growth marketing.The goal is to create an experience that perfectly harmonizes brand communication and marketing performance, while optimizing for user experience. This could evolve into a full-time role if there is interest from the candidate.

You will:
-Design and improve upon the BOTM logged out experience across landing pages, shopping experience, and enrollment flows.
-Apply visual designs that assist in the communication of our brand value propositions throughout the experience.
-Utilize the existing Book of the Month design system and create new components to add to the component library when necessary.
-Work iteratively with the in-house team to test ideas and concepts quickly.
-Work collaboratively with both product, marketing, and creative teams to gather requirements and create wireframes.

About You:
-5+ years of experience building landing pages and other -growth related product experiences.
-Deep understanding of Figma with several design projects completed with this tool.
-Demonstrated ability to manage projects from ideation to execution, focusing on both the business and user goals.
-Extremely well-organized and an excellent manager of your time. Very comfortable working under pressure and working irregular hours when needed.
-You like to iterate to achieve the best outcomes.
-You consider design best practices, but are also not afraid to try new ideas.
-Located in New York and available to come into office as needed
