Hot Damn! it's a Freelance job

We are building Feather Health, a new way to help people manage chronic pain. We are hiring an experienced Content Writer to help us grow our community and reach out to people that are suffering with chronic pain to provide them hope, encouragement, and understanding.
The scope would entail content strategy and production. You'd write on behalf behind our CEO, Kirsten, who has suffered from chronic pain and is on a mission to help others dealing with this issue. In order to build community, we want to create and distribute content sharing her story along with actionable tips and tricks that others with pain can use to help themselves. You would brainstorm a content series with us, interview Kirsten, and write in her voice. Additionally, you would interview and write about others whom have chronic pain. The output for the first portion of this project would be 10 pieces total - 5 user stories and 5 blog posts with tips/tricks for people managing pain.
Pain affects all aspects of life so we have lots of range to write about. Some examples of content would be a blog post about tips to travel with chronic pain, deal with moving, managing social relationships with pain, diet and pain, sleep and pain.

It's imperative that the writer be empathetic and have an understanding of this issue. They must be able to write in a tone that is accessible and understanding, and not authoritative. We want people to think that Feather Health is a trusted friend that can help - not a physician who knows better. An understanding of the healthcare space or writing to those with chronic conditions is a plus.
