Electro Creative Workshop is the in-house agency inside The Clorox Company. We are looking for a Social Media Maker to work with one of our amazing brands in the food space based in Oakland, California. Remote ok, ideal if based locally. (Long term Contract to FT opportunity.)

The Social Media Maker is a content creator and thought leader in all things social. This is a hands on role. You’ll develop best-in-class content for owned social channels that is tasty and food centric. To do so, you will need to be a subject matter expert with impeccable communication and follow-through skills to influence and gain alignment with internal teams and stakeholders. You’ll play a lead role helping us develop and maintain the brands’ visual/verbal voice, personality, and overall consistency in social. Concept, shoot, design, record, and write organic content. You will partner closely with our Brand Engagement team to turn their strategies into posts for followers and fans.

We’re looking for a self-starter who loves to have fun with their craft and fun in the kitchen!

Key Responsibilities:
• You’ll design and write the posts, shoot organic images and create engaging video content.
• Create food forward, craveable recipe content.
• Identify trends and not be afraid to start your own!
• Rapid response moments.
• Collaborate with the ACD of content on key pulse period work.
• Contribute to the Brand Content calendar in support of planned and real-time marketing moments.

Key Skills, Abilities and Experience Required:
• BA/BFA Degree or equivalent training in graphic design, advertising and content creation (e.g. social influencer).
• Proficiency with social platforms and emerging features and trends.
• A killer portfolio showcasing original, creative social media work.
• Photography, basic animation, and video skills (creating stills and short videos/GIFs).
• Ability to create authentic, craveable food images/video.
