The Truth is Hard
The New York Times was in a unique situation around inauguration with constant attacks on the press. We created this 360 campaign that launched during the Oscars and made waves on social media: getting referenced in Oscars speeches, trending and got a Twitter Moment, inspired spoofs by Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert, and even got a tweet from Trump himself.
My copywriter and I came up with the concept, and were responsible for execution across all platforms. I did the design treatment across all platforms, and worked heavily with the sound design in the original spot.
