War Child wanted to remind people of the importance of mothers in war-affected areas. I was the only art director on this project.
So we created Surrogaid – a fictional start-up that allows mothers here to donate motherhood there – to show that what children really need are their own mothers.
The campaign includes an online video, radio and print, all driving to Surrogaid.org where people can explore the "remote motherhood technology" through a series of interactive demonstrations before receiving the campaign's final payoff messaging.
