We partnered with the AAUW to hijack the U.S. Treasury's #TheNew10 campaign and raise awareness of the wage gap in the U.S.
Within days of the Treasury's announcement of the initiative we had released this video and been featured in Vox, Huffington Post, Fast Company, Mashable, The Daily Mail, Mic, The Independent , The New Republic, Design Taxi, and BBC Radio among others. It was also shared by prominent feminists like Lily Ledbetter and Cheryl Sandberg.
The campaign was awarded at the One Show, D&AD and the Clios and received multiple Cannes shortlists.
This project was conceptualized by my creative partner Jamie Umpherson and me. And shot the following weekend with the help of our friend Thomas Dagg. Tami Noa Levy was the illustrator. We brought the finished piece to our agency who helped us secure the AAUW client.
