My live-action stereoscopic 3D short “HOTBOX” was the first student thesis film of its kind in Canada. It premiered at the 3D Korean International Film Festival and was also selected at LA 3D Film Fest. The 18 minute theatrical monologue explores the intersection between film and live theater that 3D allows. The subject matter explores the psychology of homicidal youth with implicit gratuitousness and real-world references to school shooters. It presents a rich text that can be decoded through knowlege and research into the subject matter.
