Dorrington Summer Party Invitation

Dorrington PLC based in Knightsbridge, London is a private investment group with a long standing heritage.

Founded in 1936 as a residential investment and development company, it was listed on the London Stock Exchange in 1959 and subsequently taken private by Hanover Acceptances in 1980. The company is an active investor in both the commercial and residential property sectors.

Dorrington hosts an annual late Summer garden party in the grounds of their offices. Existing and prospective business clients are in attendance. We were required to create a suitable invitation mailer for the event. The evening was to feature cocktails, canapés, & live jazz.

The brief required the piece to be simple, elegant, witty and London-centric. Through a range of initial concepts, and refinement process, we settled on the idea of a cocktail glass with added accessories which would tie the piece together.
