MLB The Show
Sony sought to keep the buzz and sales of their popular video game series MLB The Show lasting well into the upcoming baseball season. Typically, excitement around the game would quickly fade before the first pitch—less than a month after release. With a title that's “So Real, It’s Unreal” we blurred the line between the game and the sport by taking over Opening Day and building hype throughout the season with real-time content around MLB storylines. As a fellow gamer and sports fan, tapping into the passions of both demographics and being the voice of the best-selling franchise came as easily as catching a lazy pop fly.
