THE MISSION: GenreCodex answers the question: How can we visually represent all the genres and subgenres of popular music in a way that is always accurate and always relevant? MY INVOLVEMENT: GenreCodex was my MFA Design + Technology thesis project from 2010-2012 at Parsons The New School for Design. In 2017, I decided to revisit the project.
