Behind the scenes with Jay DeMerit

Jay DeMerit was the first player signed as Vancouver's Whitecaps FC began building their team for their inaugural MLS season. Jay was returning from a successful international campaign in the South African World Cup in the summer of 2010. We had the great pleasure of meeting Jay at the airport and welcoming him to Vancouver in January 2011. The day after the photo-shoot Whitecaps FC announced their signing publicly with this behind-the-scenes video.
