Music for Changing Times — Event Highlights

I developed and wrote the script for Music for Changing Times, a benefit concert for the nonprofit organization Music2Life. The event was a multimedia protest music retrospective, incorporating song, storytelling, video, and scripted dialogue.

The event featured musicians Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey (of Peter, Paul, and Mary), Tem Blessed, Aisha Fukushima, Decora, and Naima Shalhoub, and was produced by One Foot Productions, Music2Life, and the Rubicon Theatre Company in Ventura, California.

Some of my duties for this show included research, pulling and editing archival video footage, writing original dialogue, curating existing songs and content, and providing on-site production assistance during rehearsal and performance.
