MINI and dezeen approached Studio Alexandra Daisy Ginsberg to imagine the future of mobility for a prominent show at London’s Design Festival. Our answer was to make cars out of living biological materials that evolve based on their local environments. The result was an evolution of a single car as it reacted to factors such as climate and self-repair that was brought to life through 13 generations of adaption making up 113 scale models.
