Flatiron School: Brand + Environmental + Interior Space Design.
The Flatiron School offers Full stacked web and iOS development programs within their NYC campus. The objectives were to refresh the existing brand and establishing brand design to align with product, marketing and space design, enforcing cohesive. My role was Creative Director / Lead Designer collaborating with Flatiron's Leadership team Office Manager (Carley) and interior architect firm MCDC to redesign the campus space.
The design process included interviewing students, faculty and staff members to identify pain points within the original space design, working towards establishing end goals for design and functionality. Key elements identified: versatile usage of space, collaboration is key, and inspiring space for the Flatiron community. I established design direction, sourcing furniture, and
establishing original budget or the redesign. During the 9 month of planning and construction, I worked closely with the interior architects to ensure brand cohesion and design goals were achieved.
