As part of an impaired driving campaign, we created a virtual dodgeball game for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The creative team and I brainstormed, designed and supervised the development of a full-size virtual dodgeball game to show the effects of alcohol on a person's reflexes. During gameplay, every 10-15 seconds the participant's avatar would have his reflexes slowed by an alcoholic beverage. The more beverages added, the slower the avatar's reaction time would be. The goal: demonstrate how increased alcohol decreases a person's ability to react quickly.
