(RED)Wire was an online magazine and digital music service that generated profit in order to provide medicine for people in Africa. The music service was the brainchild of U2’s frontman, Bono, and was also a part of the broader Product (RED) organization which serves to work with corporations who are contracted to give a percentage of their profits for particular products to the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa.
In collaboration with Passalong Networks, my team was engaged to design the UX for the music app, create branding concepts for the music service download site, and design concepts for the marketing campaign. The result were engaging, beautiful experiences across multiple touch points designed to help music fans support the fight against HIV/AIDS by following and purchasing music from top and emerging musicians around the world.
