Innovative and groundbreaking in his artistry and history, American makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin is an icon of the cosmetics industry even fourteen years after his death. My team was engaged to facilitate the revitalization the Kevyn Aucoin Beauty brand, which has been subpar for many years.
Before we joined, Keyvn Aucoin Beauty’s existing identity was fragmented, touch points from point-of-sales to marketing materials were inconsistent, and the digital platforms were practically non-existent. We helped redefine a brand position and identity that was authentic to Kevyn’s vision and was unique and advantageous in the marketplace. We expanded the identity into all brand touch points including brand guidelines, print and digital sales and marketing materials, point-of-sales assets, and designed and developed a B2B e-commerce platform to integrate over 1000 international resellers and partners. The company grew dramatically the following years and was very successfully sold to a private equity company in 2014. Beauty Always Wins!
