Challenge: TD Ameritrade aspired to connect and rally its network of 4000+ Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs) beyond a traditional ad campaign. So we created a movement - unlike any done by competitors to include Charles Schwab, Prudential, and Merrill Lynch among others.
Idea: "The Human Finance Project".
Typically, the focus is on financial clients. However, we flipped the camera towards RIAs at national conferences. Giving RIAs the opportunity to define what defines them. We traveled across the country to capture hundreds of awe-inspiring stories & raw emotions and housed them in an ongoing site, backed by social media, which serves as the hub for "The Human Finance Project". Personally, I was moved by the sincerity and willingness of RIAs to share their stories with us. Everyone loves a good story. I prefer mine Edgar Allan Poe twisted.
