A fully collaborative, open-source, DIY tool that enables people with ALS (a.k.a. Lou Gehrig's disease) or anyone fully paralyzed, to create and communicate using only their eyes. The EyeWriter was voted one of the Top 50 Inventions in 2010 by TIME Magazine and was featured by the BBC, NPR, WIRED, and Fast Co.
"Getting Up: The TEMPT ONE Story" is the inspiring documentary, and Audience Award winner at Slamdance 2012, that shows how everyday people, using common materials, can collaborate to create remarkable change. I was Creative Director and collaborated, consulted, and appeared in the film. I art directed the TEDActive Talk, which has received over 675K views, with Mick Ebeling founder of NOT IMPOSSIBLE LABS.
