20 year old bikes.
1 goal... Panama or bust.
Originally intended as a solo, personal mission to ride a 20-year-old XR650 to Costa Rica while documenting the trials along the way, a few of my closest moto-amigos insisted on tagging along. As the project grew in scope, the
5 friends and myself set out to click off every mile between Salt Lake City, Utah and Panama.
In order to help fund the ride, we brought in various sponsors from the motorcycle and snow/skate/surf lifestyle industries. Each sponsor was provided daily content to utilize on their own social networks. A website was set up with daily updates, and a GPS tracking device was on the crew, allowing followers to track us in real-time.
A gallery showing was pulled together shortly after our return, and a self-published book is currently in the works.
