LuminAid: "Spread Light"

LuminAid is a revolutionary solar-powered inflatable lantern developed in the wake of the Haiti Earthquake and the Japanese Tsunami. Their primary market consists of outdoors enthusiasts and "preppers", but they stick to their altruistic roots. For SXSW 2015, they wanted to build brand momentum for their "get light, give light" initiative. So we built a giant vending machine that worked purely on social currency. A tweet or instagram post led to a code that unlocked the machine for a free light and donated another to a community in need. LuminAid and #spreadlight were the top two trending topics during Music Week at SXSW and we doubled their social footprint.
