Slashvideo is a new way to consume video online, and my job was to bring a nascent idea to life in the form of a brand identity, website content, and apps. The color palette is fun, bold, and active, reflecting the diversity and vibrance of the internet and online video.
I started this project by wireframing the entire experience, starting with the overlay. This overlay is available to any website using the SlashVideo code, and it is triggered when a consumer clicks on a video.
The business goals were to create an immersive viewing experience, ensure it could work on any website, and allow consumers to passively consume more content of interest to them.
