On World Diabetes Day, we launched a campaign to raise awareness of the disease in Mexico. We all have munchies sometimes and we like to share them on twitter with photos of junk food at all times.
We created sugar tweets, an algorithm that identify junk food mentions on twitter and sums up their calories which feeds an animation of a guy eating on a website. A message was sent to the people mentioning junk food inviting them to the Mexican Diabetes Association to know more about a healthy living and avoiding the disease.
