VW Reinvents Game of PunchBug

No one knew Volkswagen made 13 models. So, to promote this fact, the game of PunchBug was renamed PunchDub and we encouraged people to punch someone when they saw any VW. Sales have been up 40% since this integrated campaign launched. It started on the Super Bowl and then continued with a variety of model specific car spots. We also named a sales event Punch Dub Days, produced videos starring the inventor of the game, Sluggy Patterson, and allowed people to virtually punch their friends through Facebook for a chance to win a VW.
