The Felt Store

The Felt Store is an online retail store specializing in all things felt and more. As the marketing director, I created and lead a small team of designers, developers, analysts, and customer service reps to grow the brand online. During my five years on the job, the visual identity and branding were developed and distributed in digital and print form, alongside video production, product development, packaging, and interior design. When I joined the company in 2010 as lead designer, I spearheaded the unification of branding by creating a consistent visual identity in styling and applications for both the digital applications and physical products and services offered. The branding aims to convey the tradition and roots of the textile and company itself with the serif type used for the wordmark, whilst bringing the contemporary and playful character and style with supporting imagery.
