Capital One Bank is expanding into the business banking space with two new products: a T&E expense tool and vendor payment platform. I was tasked with creating the flows of two functionalities for the MVP, which were defined as making a payment against a corporate credit card and designating personal transactions. As the Senior UX Designer from a team of four from Accenture, I worked alongside the product owners and designers from Capital One in Virginia. I started with a competitive audit with existing products offerings from other financial institutions. From there, I worked extensively with product owners and Capital One executives to set the cadence for MVP development, and took a leading role in explorations into the architecture and interactions,. With robust design pattern library already in place, I developed the wireframes, use cases, journey maps, interactions, and visual design.
