Ta-ku x VSCO Special Edition Preset

With an artistic repertoire spanning music, photography, design, and fashion, Perth-based Ta-ku (real name Regan Mathews) is a self-described “hypercreative” who is emotionally honest in his storytelling. With projects that are equal parts musical and visual like Create & Explore, NO.SLEEP, and the new (m)edian EP, Ta-ku attributes much of his artistic evolution to his courage in embracing imperfections of the individual or of the work.

Created in collaboration with Ta-ku, this special edition VSCO preset pays homage to his visual aesthetic. Moody, muted, but bold, it brings out the complementary colors of rosy highlights & blue-toned shadows, embracing his color-blindness and approach of honest and emotive storytelling.
