ACADEMIA // BEYMEN

Since 1971, Beymen is the most prestigious department store in Turkey. ACADEMIA was founded as an RTW label in 2010 after becoming a very important creative platform for discovering young designers. In October 2016, after returning to Istanbul from the US, I took over the label's design operations, designing RTW to knitwear and accessories, reporting the head designer Asli Abbasoglu. This is a huge opportunity for me as a designer since I get to create a collection from A to Z with all the commercial aspects.
