ZYNGA LIVE : INVITING USER EXPERIENCE AND BRAND TO PLAY TOGETHER
When Zynga was dropped from the Facebook, they had an identity crisis, as no one knew who they were, and they had no gaming platform. Working with R/GA, I created a fun and approachable user experience for Zynga Live that focuses on realtime interactive exchanges. The branding is made up letter forms derived from basic shapes that communicate the brand positioning of “Inviting Play”. Through the use of elementary shapes and bright colors, I created an identity which maintains unique characteristics and resonates core behaviors: nowness, challenge, player respect and serendipity.
