Shulman + Associates would give out copies of its categorized portfolios as marketing tools, but these 200-page books were costly to maintain. A fast, economic way to present the firm’s latest work was needed.
A series of pocket books was conceived. The simple layout allowed for quick design and production times, while spreading the projects over multiple books significantly cut down immediate costs.
Five issues and going, the design began to mold itself over time with the firm, using the content in each issue to explore new ways to quickly and efficiently showcase an office’s work.
