Internet television network Netflix had a unique problem: their iconic logotype was not performing well in what had become its most critical environments — tiny mobile icons and digital interfaces.
I worked with the Netflix in-house design team to distill the brand's most iconic attributes into a smaller, more efficient symbol which would augment their existing assets. The result of our collaboration was a new 'N' symbol that utilized their color and iconic arcing typography, while introducing a ribbon-like element suggesting the continuous motion of film reels.
