éS Skateboarding & PBR present: CHILLED AIR
CHILLED AIR was the third in our biannual group skate and street art show at Think Tank Gallery that we hosted every other Summer. It was curated by Think Tank favorites Luke Pelletier and Austin England, and showed the artwork of dozens of artists. We also built a skate park covered in murals and outfitted with a TV screen that ran live footage of kids skating the park through an analog feedback loop and onto the monitor that was inside one of the obstacles, while the kids skated it.
We partnered with éS Skateboarding, GoPro, PBR, and Keen Ramps to build out the show on National Go Skate Day, and thousands of people came to the opening night. After that we left the art show open a few nights a week and let people come skate the park, serving a community that lacks safe skate parks to access at night in Downtown LA and eastward.
For this project I served as the director/producer, but since it was a production created by the DIY art space startup that I founded, I ran pretty much every aspect with my team.
