For about a million years Goodyear just did ads with blimp pilots that were only tangentially related to tires. Goodyear makes way more tires than blimps, so this posed a problem. We created a campaign that reasserts Goodyear as a maker of tires for some of the most badass vehicles on earth, as well as your mom's minivan. I and my art director partner were the primary team creating work for the campaign launch, including TV, print and other fun stuff. On the TV shoot we got to hang out with a NASCAR driver with a two-pack-a-day smoking habit who singlehandedly replaced the transmission in the race car when it blew during filming. Fun times!
