How do you boost soda sales at point of purchase? A coupon? No. A double straw. With the purchase of two Jarritos sodas, customers got a double straw to mix and match flavors in their very own mouth. I came up with the double straw concept and did the initial sketches which we then passed on to a manufacturer. I also developed and wrote the branded content video/case study video hybrid and various collateral and social components.
This sucker shortlisted at the 2013 Cannes Lions in two categories, earned a 2014 One Show Merit Award, and was featured in the 2013 Communication Arts Advertising Annual.
