For the launch of the Nokia Lumia, we wanted people to see for themselves just how insanely cool the Windows 8 live tiles were. To draw people in, we created a social competition where people had the chance to be Will Arnett’s personal assistant for a day. You had to actually interact with the Nokia Lumia by using the live tiles to build their interface and be entered into the competition. It was a huge success. Over a million people made shareable videos, sales on the Nokia Lumia went bananas, which secured us a Gold Effie and write-ups in all sorts of national publications, including Fast Company.
